Road trips always transform me, I'm never the same person upon arriving home. The vast unspoiled spaces along our nation's highways, or rather, the spaces our highways cut through... are incredibly grounding, humbling, and inspiring. The sheer variety of beauty along these routes inspired this collection.

Thirty years ago, when I was putting together my first portfolio, collage art featured heavily. I love painting beautiful things and then cutting them up and turning them into new pieces.
Add that to my love of arranging things (ask anyone who knows me, I can't resist arranging things in a pleasing way), and you've got the collection I'm currently working on.
